Although formally established in late 2008, Al-Falah Academy began as an informal Hifz revision class in Thornpark. A small group of students met to strengthen their Qur’an memorisation and connection with Dīn, first working from a family home generously dedicated to Islamic service.
The Academy developed a flexible Hifz system for school-going students, combining Qur’anic memorisation and revision with Islamic values, tarbiyyah and good character. In 2009 it introduced Further Education for students beyond Maktab and hosted a Seerah Conference. Its Ālimiyyah programme began in 2012 with four students, and additional Northmead premises opened in February 2018 to support its growth.
With the support of the Muslim community, Al-Falah acquired a larger property in Mass Media. Construction of the new Masjid and Madrasah facilities was completed in January 2026. Ālimiyyah students have moved to the new campus, while the Ḥifz programme continues at Northmead. The Academy remains committed to sound Dīnī education, tarbiyyah, good character and a sincere connection with Allāh Ta‘ala.
